"If you've ever played a WarioWare game, you'll have a very good idea of what to expect from Hot Pixel: dozens of frenetic "microgames" strung end to end, taking no more than a few seconds to figure out and not much more than that to complete. Pixel pilfers the formula unapologetically, and it's still fun for the most part. But where Wario's bizarre aesthetic and endlessly creative bite-sized game concepts are half the appeal, Pixel's wackiness comes off a bit too forced and market-researched, owing more to various PSP ad campaigns (like those "wacky" talking dust balls) than anything particularly unique or creative."
