Tomb Raider Anniversary review at Gamespy.

"Some perspective. In 1994, I paid $2,400 to play Doom -- $2,000 for a new computer and $400(!) for an additional 8MB of RAM. A couple of years ago, I plunked down a hundred bucks and was able to play a pixel-perfect port of the first-person shooter on a cell phone-sized GBA Micro. Now, I've trumped even that. Not only was I able to play through a handheld version of Lara Croft's original adventure on my PSP, I was playing a version that so graphically blows away the original that if I had seen visuals like this back in 1996, my head would have exploded. Eidos and Crystal Dynamics' Tomb Raider: Anniversary, which came out in the spring for PS2 owners, finally gives handheld gamers a chance to replay a piece of gaming history. While not perfect, it does give PSP owners a high-poly-count blast from the past."
