Aliens vs. Predator: Requiem preview at 1-up.

"Christmas Day's Aliens vs. Predator movie is making the jump to PSP this November via developer Rebellion, which also worked on the super scary Aliens vs. Predator PC game released in 1999. Rather than the established first-person shooter, the series is changing gears to a third-person action-adventure with the player sporting Preda-dreads.

Our hands-on time with an early version of AvP at Sierra's press event last week provided only a tiny glimpse into the game. Set down in a forest level, our goal was to destroy evidence of Alien invasion -- in this case, facehugger husks -- so, unfortunately, there was very little action. We tried out our claws and blaster (more weapons unlock as you advance) on some innocent human bystanders, but it wasn't terribly fulfilling. Mostly we just ran around looking for those incriminating facehugger remnants, taking care to interact with them until blue smoke started rising."
