Alien Syndrome review at 1-up.

"As popular as action-role-playing games have become, rarely do they innovate or push the genre forward in any way. They're now the go-to gameplay option for team superhero titles (X-Men Legends, Fantastic Four) and fantasy action (Baldur's Gate, Untold Legends), an easy way to bring together disparate characters in a cohesive universe. While Alien Syndrome on the PSP is competent at times, it doesn't fare as well as the Wii version due to poor controls; it looks slightly better on the PSP thanks to the higher resolution of the screen -- but overall, it's still an eyesore that doesn't even attempt to bring anything new to the table."
